高中さんは大好きなギタリストの一人です。当然このアルバムは外せません。この頃はストラトハーフトーンが中心（まだ多分ＳＧ使ってないと思います）で、本当に気持ちいい一枚。とりわけ一曲目が素晴らしい。一曲目は曲、ギターもさることながら、後藤次利さんのベースと林立夫さんのドラムがたまりません。最近お二人とも高中さんとまたやり始めたので、昔からのファンとしては嬉しいです。そういえば、林さんて、最近また結構ドラム叩いてるけど、いったいどんな仕事されてたんだろう？知ってる方いますか？日本のスタジオドラマーのトップをポンタさんと競うほどの方で、85年ごろ突然リタイアしちゃったんですよね。ま、それは余談で、今聴いても（確か７５年か６年リリース）めちゃめちゃ良いです。高中さんをこれから初めて聴く人は絶対このアルバムから入るべきです。

5.0 out of 5 stars 気持ちの好い「除湿」された名盤。, 2004/7/5
〜70年代半ば、ブルース系のハードロックやプログレッシヴロックが溢れ、重く湿って息苦しかった日本のロックシーンに、涼風の如く登場したアルバムです。
聞いていて「気持ちが好い ! 」という感じになったのも、このアルバムが最初でした。
クロスオーバー( 今で云うフュージョン )という言葉が出始めた頃ですが、このアルバムはそんな時代を先取りしたものでした。
どの曲も実に魅力的ですが「トロピック・バーズ」の最初と最後に入っている井上陽水と高中正義によるアカペラのコーラスは、余りにも気持ちが好いです。

日本のフュージョンは、ここから始まったと言っても過言ではないでしょう。いまや定番の「ＯＨ！ＴＥＮＧＯ　ＳＵＥＲＵＴＥ」「憧れのセイシェル諸島」「トロピック・バード」収録。でも私的には「トーキョー・レギー」が一押しです。参加ミュージシャンも超豪華！青春時代の夏の海を思い出します。全曲完全コピーしました。トロピカルと言う流行語も生みました。
