一時どこのお店へ行っても一日中彼の音楽が流れてるときがありました。もしかしたら聞き覚えのある曲が入っているかもしれません。きっとハワイを思い出せる一枚だと思います。

スローな曲目が多いナンバーなので、リラックスしたい時、ホームパーティーの最後にまったりしたい時などなどいろいろ活用できますよ！

トラディショナルなハワイアンミュージックもあれば、ビルボードのヒットソングをカバーした曲も入っていたりと、ハワイ語そして英語を両方楽しめる一枚です。

　ＣＤカバーに写っているケアリイは、たくましいハワイアンの男性ですが、彼の歌声はそれからは想像もつかないような、時にはコミカルで、時には荘厳で、ときには無性に優しくて、タイトルの『スウィート・アイランド』の波打ち際で波の音を聞いているような、そんなゆったりした時間が流れます。

　忙しい日々に心が疲れているかたに、ぜひ聞いてほしいアルバムです。
