プリファブ･スプラウト7年振りのアルバム。当然の如く名曲揃い。
改めてパディ･マクアルーンは素晴らしいソングライターなのだと実感。
ジャケット･デザインがこのアルバムを象徴しているように思う。
まさに夢の世界。最高のポップミュージック。

Prefabの中で、このアルバムをフェイヴァリットに挙げる人が意外と少ないので不思議なんですが、このアルバムは初期のナイーヴな青さでも、中期の煌めくメロディーでも、最新作の含蓄のある音楽でもない、孤高の美しさを湛えた傑作だ。世界中の誰もが感動できるであろう、こんな素晴らしいアルバムを作ったPaddy McAloon。彼は、敬愛するJimmy Webbと、もう同じ地平に立っている。

捻くれた、というよりも捻くれすぎていたファースト。（超名盤）

セカンド以降はそんなに音もアレンジも変わっていない
と私は思う。
パティは「とにかくいい曲を、ロマンチックな曲を作りたい」
なんて言っていた。
このアンドロメダハイツも勿論その流れに沿うものだ。
1のイントロを聞けば誰もが理解してくれるだろう。
