SPIT以降モダンな要素を取り入れ音楽性が多様化する前のスラッシュメタル時代の集大成。
日本のバンドだから・・・といって手を出しにくい人にはまずこれを聴いてから過去に遡って欲しい。スラッシュ好きならはまるはず。
これで気に入ったなら次は「THE FINAL DAY」がお勧め。

なんでこの曲が入ってないの？という疑問や曲の並びには多少の不満はあるが、収録されている曲に駄曲はない。と思う。
DAMNEDのカヴァー入り。

選曲については悪くないと思います。全体的にスラッシュ・メタルファン必聴なナンバーが沢山収録されているので、アウト・レイジに興味のある方は購入する事をお勧めします。ライナーにはメンバーが曲に対する思いを一曲一曲コメントしています。カバー曲はノリの良い曲で、メンバーも楽しそうに演奏してる様に感じる事が出来ます。そして、貴重なデモ音源も聴く事が出来ます。このデモ音源は、彼らがデビューのきっかけになった音源で急いで録音したせいで歌詞が、少し違っていたりといろんな意味で貴重な音源になっています。それにしてもこのベスト盤少し音が悪い。

ｼﾞｬﾊﾟﾆｰｽﾞ･ｽﾗｯｼｭﾒﾀﾙﾊﾞﾝﾄﾞのﾍﾞｽﾄ盤。90年代「THE FINAL DAY」でﾌﾞﾚｲｸした彼らの良質な曲を楽しむ事の出来るｱﾙﾊﾞﾑ。彼らの立ち位置は「ｽﾗｯｼｭﾒﾀﾙ」でありそこから「ﾊｰﾄﾞｺｱ」や「ﾊﾟﾝｸ」を見据えている。彼らは基盤がしっかりしているので、「ﾊｰﾄﾞｺｱ」「ﾊﾟﾝｸ」の持つ攻撃性が加わった、凶暴なｽﾗｯｼｭﾒﾀﾙを味わえるﾊﾞﾝﾄﾞになっている。逆ではそうはいかない。今聞いても、心が振るえ、血沸き立つ。10代の人々に聞いて欲しい。ﾒﾀﾙとはどういうものか。日本人でもここまでやれることを。しかし、曲によって音質が違いすぎるのは不満が残った。
