ミルトン＝ミナス音楽の代名詞となっているが、
ミナス音楽とは何？
答えはここにありです。
ロック、ボサノヴァ、ジャズ、ラテン、アバンギャルドあらゆる音楽を歌ものポップスで包み込んでいます。

演奏もとてもスピリチュアルでこのメンバーが奇跡的に集まったからできたのだなと言う感じです。絶対この人たちじゃなきゃ、この音になりません。唯一無二の音です。とくにトニーニョのギターが神懸かり的です。
本当にロックなレコードなんてめったにないですけど、これは本当のロックといえるでしょう。
最高！大好き！一家に一枚です。

発車のベルの音。
そして時間が進んでいくに連れて広がるその岬の風景が、
故郷に帰る時の風景と重ね合わさって行く。
「ponta de areia」
The Boomの宮沢君と、
矢野明子さんのデュオでもカヴァーされているこの曲を、
僕は一生心の中に風景として留めておける。

ウェイン・ショーターのヴァージョンも聞き応えはあるが、
ミルトン・ナシメントを、

そして世界の広さをもっと感じ取りたいのならこの一枚に限ります。

近年ではナナ・カイミのカヴァーも秀作です。

故郷の山々、列車が動く音、子供の泣き声、荷物を背負う老人、ほこり舞う駅、物乞いする少年・・・
とても懐かしいような切ないような愛しい気持ちいっぱいになります。
