　僕のアルバム評価基準は曲が良いこと、プレイが良いこと、今までにない新しい音楽への創造性に溢れていること。などですが、このアルバムは3点全てを満たしています。発売されてもう20年以上が経過していますが、彼らのバンドカラーを書き換えるようなバンドは出てきていません。この演奏のカラーは結局この時期にこのメンバーでなくては出せなかった音なんでしょう。ボーカル曲とインスト曲の混じり具合も抜群ですし。ノーマン・シーフによるジャケット写真もグッド！ニールのソロアルバムを聞いても、やはり2人そろってこそ質の高いものが出来るってのを納得してしまいます。ニールさんゴメン。

オープニングのバジー・フェイトンのギターのイントロを聞いただけで、このカッコよさは何だと、うなってしまいます。ゆったりとしたリズムと弾むようなギター。このアルバムのすべてを物語っているといっても過言ではないカッコよさです。全8曲のソングライティングを2人で分け合っており、ボーカル曲が6曲。ニール・ラーセンのインスト曲の3は次のアルバムを含めても、一番彼らしい曲で、軽めのエフェクトをかけたコンボオルガンの響きが心地よい出来です。このアルバムとフルムーン名義の次作はすべての音楽ファンの必聴アイテムです。ぜひ、一家に一セット購入してください。

彼らのデビューは古くその頃からフルムーンの名義で活躍しており某会社からその作品がでてるがさすがに時代に合わなかったのか全然ラーセンフェイトンしてないのである。しかしこの作品で一気に開花した二人のコンビネーションは当時のフュージョン界では異例だったのではないか
