アントニオカルロスジョビンに影響を受けて歌うことを始めたこの人物。年齢は不詳ですが。その声は『一度聴けば印象に残る』というほどに色気がむんむんしています。つまり声がセクシーなのです。

このアルバムは『チェスキー』から離れて『ヴァーヴ』から出ています。新しいレーベルですんで、『自由にやりたいようにやっているところが』新鮮でいいです。

売り物は『あのインコグニートのブルーイがプロデュースしていることですかね。つううううことは『かなりクラブっぽいサウンドでしゃれててダンサブルなものに仕上がっています』

チェスキーでの契約が長かっただけに『この展開は』かなり気持ちのいいものだったはず。『いわゆる典型的なボサノヴァから一歩踏み出そう』という彼女のチャレンジ精神がびしびし伝わります。

米国マーケットを意識した『予算をたっぷりかけた』充実作品といえます。このふわっとした音の浮遊感はほんとに貴重です。

アナの『ヴォーカリストとしての実力も示した＝どんな歌でも歌いこなす力』が如実に表れた、心あらわれる音楽なのです。

『マイケルフランクス／スイングアウトシスター／ワークシャイ／ガルコスタ／フローラプリム／エリアーヌアライアス／イヴァンリンス／ホルへベン／タニアマリア／リカルドシルヴェイラ／デヴィッドチェスキー／チャツマンジョーネ／パキートデリヴィエラ』などがお好きなかたにぜひともおすすめ致します。

一番の売りは今までのアナ・カランのイメージを覆す、
クラブミュージック調の一曲目「おいしい水」でしょう。
なかなか良いです。この一曲で[買う価値あり]です。
他にもいろいろと新しい音作りに挑戦しています。
「マシュ・ケ・ナダ」や「ウェイブ」などの有名曲あり、
「close to you」や「overjoyed-ancora」のメドレー等、しっとりした癒される曲ありで、
ブラジル音楽の初心者から上級者まで幅広く楽しめる作品になっています。

最後に、
アストラッド・ジルベルトの歌う「おいしい水」も必ず聴いて頂きたいです。
アナ・カランが何故「おいしい水」に挑戦したくなったかが分かりますよ！
こちらはアストラッド・ジルベルトのベスト盤その他に収録されています。

グラビィなグルーブに ちょっぴり中近東のニュアンスを織り込んでいるかと思うと、
昇り立つ，ブラジリアンの篤く浸透するようなフィーリング♪

根底にはクールでミステリアスが見え隠れし、♪
彼女のフツフツしていた感性が 調合行き届いている♪

落ち着いていながらも、あやしく 官能的な 仕上がりがよろしいですわ♪

おいしい水♪クロース・トゥ・ユウ♪を初めとする ボッサから、チューン・ポップスカバーまで♪
レコード会社の移籍により、
ガラッと変化することを許された，彼女の歌声に溺れてみるのは如何でしょう♪
