去年の夏ころ「The Gift of Thirst」っつーCDをNYで見つけて買いました。amazon-Jでは売ってないみたいですが。20年以上経っても同じようなテイストで演ってくれてます。最近この系統の新作は、まずリリースされないので、こっちもチェックされたらいかがでしょう。

本作がGREATなのは、もう他の方が十分に語ってらっしゃるので、あえて付け加えるとすると、（アレンジのアプローチは全然違うけど）マーク・ジョーダン（I'm a cameraの頃）やステファン・ビショップあたりのソフトなのがお好きならイケると思います。

この方は、今何をなさってるのでしょうか？デリケートな歌と素晴らしい曲と素晴らしいギター。アレンジは少々時代を感じますが、デイブ・グルーシン、キースジャレット、マーカスミラー、エディゴメス、バディウイリアムス、クリスパーカー、ラルフマクドナルドなどの恐ろしいほど豪華なバックミュージシャン。キースジャレットの弟と言うことで、ジャズと思われて当時は肩透かしを食った人も沢山いたそうですが、この才能は素晴らしいです、聴いたことの無い人は不幸です。

さわやかな耳に残るメロディ。
印象的なフレーズ。偶然出会ったLPの時代ですが、あCDになったんだと嬉しいので再度とんだ針で聴けなくなったのを買いたいなーと思いました。
