「 ジェリートーンズ・プロジェクト 」 のシングルでアルバム未収録のタイトル。　また前２作がアルバムサイズのケースだったのに対し、この 『 エコー・イクジット 』 のみマキシ・シングルケースです。　シリーズでも好きなシングルなんですが、やや 『メタルブルーアメリカ 』 に近い雰囲気もなきにしもあらず、といった評価もあります。

　リミックスがそれぞれのスタンスを貫きつつミックスされているのがイイですね。　トラック５では同じく日本が誇るコンビ 「ブンブンサテライツ」によるミックスがラインナップ。　彼ららしいドラムのうなるミニマルさです。　"Mekon Remix" も原曲とはずいぶんと装いを変えていますが、オリジナルに引けを取らないミックスです。

どう聴いてもオリジナルヴァージョンは未完成のような気がしてならない。聴きやすいとは思うのだが、このようなサウンドをこの時期の彼に求めてはいなかった。もっと、聴いているだけで腹筋が筋肉痛になるような、例えばストレッチやサーキュラーモーションといったデトロイトテクノを完全に自分の形にアレンジした作品と比べてしまうと、どうしても弱々しい音を垂れ流しにしているように感じてしまうのだ。
リミックスの中に多少面白いものはあるが、彼の作品として考えると、どうしても疑問が残る。
