　元 YMO としても有名、細野晴臣 は 『 ナーガ 』 。　YMO としては最早ここで語るまでもなく、テクノ・ミュージックの開拓者でもあり、日本だけでなくテクノへの貢献は多大なモノがあります。
　この 『 NAGA 』 はとりわけ９０年代に入ってからの、アンビエントや環境音楽に傾倒していった当時の作品といえるでしょう。　また各トラックはドキュメントなどのTV番組から。 Tr.2 " Naga " とTr.6 "Jado" はシングル 『 JADO REMIX 』 でリミックスが収録されています。　オススメはガムランのようなパーカッションが心地よい" Sherpa" やアンコールワットの響き "Mabui Dance （マブイ=沖縄で 「 魂 」 のこと） "。　全体的にチベット色 （？） が強く、一瞬にしてトリップできるアルバムです。

東南アジア方面がお好きな方が気にいるような音楽が入っています。
細野さんの音楽はバラエティがある上、よく練られた印象を受けるものが多いですが、このアルバムもそのような作品の一つです。

細野さんのアンビエントものの中で
一番聴きやすいのではなかと思う。
アジア的なサウンドで
大自然や宇宙を感じさせるアルバムだと思う。
