5.0 out of 5 stars 「オール・オーヴァー・ザ・ワールド」1曲だけでも貴重, 2004/6/14
LPのベスト盤は持っていたが、敢えて、このＣＤを購入したのは、16.「オール・オーヴァー・ザ・ワールド(フランス語ヴァージョン)」が聞きたかったからだ。この曲を最初に聞いたのは30年以上前で、ＮＨＫ教育テレビで放送されていた「通信高校講座英語」の途中のブレイクで流されていた。シーカーズが歌っていたこの曲は、この世界では、至る所で、出会いもあれば、別れもある、という普遍的内容である。シーカーズの女性ボーカルは、切々と、しかも、カレッジフォーク系らしく、淡々と歌っていて、強く印象に残った。レコードも探したが、当時、残念ながら、見つからなかった。結局、その歌詞とメロディーが心に残り、折に触れて思い出されていた。昨年、何気なく、この曲名を検索したところ、このアルディーのCDに遭遇し、すぐに購入した。シーカーズよりも、ゆったりとしたテンポで、人の出会いと別れを、はかなげに、物静かに語るように歌っている。まさに、アニュイ。実に味わい深い名唱だ。ギターの爪弾きも素晴らしい。この名曲を歌っている歌手は意外に少なく、アルディーの名唱は大変貴重だ。この1曲のために、このＣＤを買った私としても満足している。

あなたがもし、このフレンチポップスの一時代を築いた女性、アルディ
の曲を初めて聴いてみようと思うのであれば、このＣＤほどぴったりの
ものはないでしょう。１曲目の「男の子女の子」から２７「ヴォアラ」

まで、どこかで耳にしながら身体の奥に刻み付けてきた、懐かしいけど

新しい、フレンチポップが一番おしゃれで輝いていた６０年代がここに蘇ります。
