これは３作目にあたりますが、個人的には初期メンバーの作品の中では一番好きです。
もうすでにメンバーは全員いいトシしたおっさんですね。
サイケサイケ〜ウッヒョォ〜とかいってギター弾きまくればいいわけじゃないってのは
すでにわかってます。大人ですね。楽器うまいし。
マニ・ノイマイヤーはひたすらユーモラスロックの追及をやってますね。そんでここで頂点極めてますね。
何気にアックスゲンリッヒはかなり個性的なギタリストだと思うんですがどうなんでしょう。
この歯切れのいいギターはなかなかクセになります。さあみんな歌おうぜ。

ジャーマンロックといえば、カン、ファウスト、クラフトワーク、ノイ、ハルモニア、アモンデュール、ポポロ・ヴー、あたりは是非おさえてください。そしてこのグルグルも。
英米のロックも太刀打ちできないジャーマンワールド。へようこそ。

グルグルはさしずめ、ＵＦＯにのってきたジミヘン、アックスゲンリッヒのギター、かっこいい、面白いなんて言語を無化するような、この人。「ＵＦＯ」「ヒンテン」「グルグルの世界」もおすすめですが、へヴィメタファンにもお薦めです。かっこいい。

ジャケのあほらしさと、一聴したところの、軽さから、駄作呼ばわりもされる作品であるが、演奏レベルも含めて、かなりの高水準のサイケアルバムだ。雰囲気としては、ファウストのWのような、宴や狂騒の後の脱力感や虚無感がある。かつてのヘヴィーでフリーキーな部分はあまり伺えないが、その分、ひとつひとつの音へのこだわりが激しく、内向的で真に実験的なサイケデリック・ミュージックに仕上がっている。
