「レディオスターの悲劇」後才能にもかかわらずルックスの為消滅しかけていたトレバーホーンがイエスの「ロンリーハート」人気で再浮上時に作った仮面バンド！今ではそう過激でないエロ内容を歌詞にしでメディアの放送禁止で若者の心を煽動させた。「リラックス」は名曲だが、それ以外はワンパターン。人気絶頂でもライブをしないことが問題となり当時話題のライブエイドなどチャリティにも一切参加せずホリージョンソンVO.以外のメンバーが演奏できない事が発覚し更にホーンのプロデューサーとしての人気が高まった。その後彼はABCやプロパガンダ、自らのバンドアートオブノイズなどで大成功した。

当時は少しかっこいいかなと思っていたが、今聴くと本当に薄っぺらな音。
「リラックス」以外は聴くのもちょっと辛い。

全体としても、アルバム1枚作るだけのコンセプトはないように感じる。

いいところもあるので、惜しいなという感じ。

このバンドが出てきたのは私が高校２年の頃でしたが、
英国は無名のバンドやアーチストがどんどん出てくる楽しさが
あって、一連のヒットシングルやこのアルバムを聞くと当時の
懐かしい思い出が蘇ってきます。
個人的な思いですが、「明日なき暴走」「サン・ホセ」
「フランキーがここにいて欲しい」「バラード・オブ・32」

「クリスコ・キッス」「ブラック・ナイト・ホワイト・ライト」
「オンリー・スター・イン・ヘヴン」が好きです。
アルバムは不評だった記憶がありますが、冬空が続いて
太陽が見えないような印象のアルバムですが、「明日なき暴走」
「サン・ホセ」「フランキーがここにいて欲しい」といった
カバー曲も悪くないです。

しかし、カバーされた側はどう思っていたのかと、率直な
感想を聞きたかったです。
