コーラスワークの爽やかさ、パーカッシヴに跳ねるリズム、フォーキーな佇まい、温かな歌声、差し込まれるフルートの音色、バラエティにとんでいながらも、どれもが高品質で惜しみないアイデアが詰め込まれた音楽。70年前夜の珠玉のアルバム。

昔ギターをやっていて、今では年に一、二回ギターを押入れから引っ張り出して弾いていると、子供に「貸して、貸して」とせがまれて、結局現実はこんなものかと、音楽なんてこんなものかと、思う瞬間のある方。一人っきりでこのアルバムを聞いてほしいなぁ。

ハードでも、ソフトでもないけど、演奏を実に楽しそうにする人たちがここにいるんだなぁ。街角で演奏する青年たちに煎じて飲ましてあげたい！音楽にセンスと微笑を少し混ぜるだけで、こんなに柔らかくなるって。

ここ最近通勤で迷惑を顧みず、しょぼい愛車で大音量で聞く＃１なんかは、音楽をあきらめるな！って言われている感じ。
そんなん僕だけかも。でも、音楽はあなたを見捨てない。
