これはブルース・ブラザーズのアルバム３枚を２枚組にまとめたものです。
その３枚とは「ブルースは絆」（Briefcase Full of Blues）、
「ブルース・ブラザーズ」（サントラ盤）、「メイド・イン・アメリカ」です。
ジェイクのいない「ブルース・ブラザーズ２０００」を除けば、全曲聴けます。
さらに２枚目の「16. エクスプレスウェイ・トゥ・ユア・ハート」はベスト盤、
「17. エクスキュイズ・モア・モン・シェリー」はシングル「ソウル・マン」のＢ面で、
３枚のアルバムには収録されておりません。ですから、この「コンプリート」は
ブルース・ブラザーズを初めて聴く人も、往年のファンも、満足できるものです。
他に、簡単な日本語解説とほぼ全曲の歌詞が付いています（対訳はありません）。
曲順の違いやＭＣ（ライヴでの曲間のおしゃべり）のカットはありますので、
そういった違いにこだわる方は、「ブルースは絆」なども別に買ったほうがいいでしょう。
最後に、言うまでもありませんが、是非あわせて映画も御覧ください。

このアルバムをレンタル屋でみかけたらスグに借り、借りたら欲しくなり買い、アメリカの友人でジェイク・マニアに思わずプレセントしてしまいました。

それぐらいお奨め。ＢＢが好きでも嫌いでも、食わず嫌いはやめて聞きなさい！きっと意味もなく走りだし、車でモールに突っ込むかもしれません！

ショップの店頭でなぜか置かれていないブルース・ブラザース（以下BB）のこのアルバム。店側の勉強不足もあるんでしょうがBBのファンならば絶対に持っているべきこの２枚組。不満な点はATLANTIC RECORDが５０周年記念で出したといわれますが写真を使っていないのは権利の関係か何かだと思いますが・・・　デビューアルバムの「ブルースは絆」OST「BLUES BROTHERS」「メイド・イン・アメリカ」の３枚を収録したお得な、それでいて上手に編集された名盤ですよコレは。ハッキリ言ってBBはジェイクとエルウッドの２人でしょう。BBバンドとかジェイク抜きのBBは私は偽者（にせもん）だと思っとります。何か間違っとりますか？！　買っていない人はオーダーしてください。ちなみになぜか米国盤は5/10/2003現在$51.49(6027円)してます。こりゃあ国内盤がお得ですよ
