B.フオンテーヌの諸作品で有名なサラヴァは、オーナーのP.バルーの自由な精神が反映され、さまざまなジャンルのレコードを出しているが、フランス初の黒人音楽といわれるガボン共和国の自作自演歌手、アケンダンゲが70年代前半に残した本作もそのひとつで、シンプルかつ美しいメロディと温かな歌声は、言葉や国境を越えて聴く人の心の中へ直接訴えかけ、優しい感動を与えてくれる。 (飯塚達弘) --- 1997年02月号
