　ヴォーカルがまるっきりプラント・・・というわけではないのですが、ペイジ以外のギタリストのサポートも含めて、かなり満足のいく出来栄えではないかと思います。
　多くのリスナーが、「Page and Plant よりはZEPらしい」と言うでしょう。
　中でも興味深いのは、Yardbirds時代にもレパートリーにあった「Shapes of Things」や、「Black Dog」の元ネタになったと言われる、Fleetwood Mac の「Oh Well」を演奏していることです。特に、前者の「Shapes ~」は、「ペイジにアイデアをパクられた」と言われてしまった、ジェフ・ベックのアルバム「トゥルース Truth」のバージョンです。
　そういった事を、お構い無しにやってしまうペイジは、いろいろな意味で、とても寛大だと思います。
　そういえば以前、Whitesnakeの「Still Of The Night」について、逆にペイジが「ZEPのパクりだ」とデビッド・カヴァーデイルを批難していましたが、その後、Coverdale・Pageとしてバンドを組んだ時は、何事もなかったかのように、同曲をライブレパートリーに入れてました。
　これは、彼自身が「ZEPの存在全てを肯定していきたい」という、強い気持ちの表れではないかと思うのです。

　因みに、輸入版と日本版は、値段はほとんど同じですが、内容が違いますのでご注意を！
　日本版には、２曲ボーナストラックが収録されている他、ちょっとしたライブ映像を観る事が出来ます。静止画像を沢山織り交ぜたＣＭみたいなものですが、このライブの雰囲気は十分伝わってきます。

これを買った動機はまず、ブラッククロウズがどのようにZEPの名曲群を仕上げているか興味があったし、何より御大ジミーペイジが参加していること。
まずびっくりしたことは、演奏がZEPそっくり（笑）。

もちろんペイジがいるからそんなことはあたりまえだが、一番びっくりしたことは歌声がZEPの歌にはまっていること。天才ロバート以外でそんなに堂にはまるかな？と心配していた私にとってはまず安心＾＾
若い世代のブラッククロウズファンでZEPを聞くのにためらっている人にはこれからお勧め。
昔からのZEPファンはジミーペイジの健在さに涙しましょう。

あ、あと名手２人のツインギターでのZEPの名曲でのライブは最高にいいよ！！

正直Crowesファンの私としては何でZepなの？何でJimmyと？疑問に感じました。それはCrowesがZep好きというイメージが無かったからでしょう。だけど聴いてみるとなかなかのもんです。Zepのカヴァーばかりでなく古いブルースのカヴァーなども演っていてこれがまたハマっております。Jimmyおじさんもやっぱりこういうの好きなのね。楽しそうに共演してるのが伝わってきてGoodですね。このメンバーで来日の予定だったのに腰痛でキャンセルとはさすがの大御所も年には勝てなかったようで残念でした。
