最初に(別の作品で)写真をみたときは，なんでゴルファーがピアノ弾いてんの？ って思いやした．髪を固めすぎです．どうでもいいですかそうですか．そんなにフォローしていないが，数枚のアルバムを聴く限り，リリカルでやさしいタッチが彼のプレイの魅力といえるでしょう．これはピアノの独奏集ということなので買った．全体的に手数が多くなく，ゆったりとしていて，リラックスできる．出す音だけがアーティストのアイデンティティを決めるのではないんだな，と思う．この頃流行っているらしい「静音ジャズ」が好きな人には，是非一度聴いてみてほしい．

Bonus CDのQueen/Freddy Mercuryの曲集が特に秀逸．"Bohemian rhapsody"をピアノソロで弾くと，こういう味わいもあるんだな，と感心した．もちろん「本編」もいいです．BGMとしてもお勧め．

フレディー・マーキュリーのボックスセットについているDVD<Untold Story>にも使用されている音源がボーナスCDとしてついています。私はこちら目的で購入しました。もちろん、本編に収録されたタイトル曲もいい。原曲のイメージを壊さずにうまくアレンジされていると思います。フレディの映像を見ながらBGMとして楽しむのもいいでしょう。
