今回のリイシューCDについてのレビューがまだ出ていないので。

リマスターの音質については快挙！と呼べるでしょう。アナログ盤を思わせる温かみがあり、高音域や低音域を変に誇張することもない、実にクリアでナチュラルな音です。僕はこの作品をUS盤LP・国内盤LP・最初のUS盤CD・ESCA規格の国内盤CD・20周年記念リマスターUS盤CD・限定仕様のUS盤ゴールドCDで聴いてきましたが、今回のリイシュー、CDの中では最高音質だと断言出来ます！ジャケットがUS盤LPの再現でないのが個人的には残念ですが（でも作り自体は良く出来ています）。

同様のことが同時リリースの3作（GOOD TROUBLE、WHEELS ARE TURNIN'、LIFE AS WE KNOW IT）にも言えます。限定商品とのこと、迷っている方は在庫がなくなる前に是非押さえてください！！

２０年以上前に変わったバンド名というだけでこのアルバム（まだLP盤でした）を購入しました。当時はレンタルレコード店も少なく試聴も出来なかったので、よくそんな理由でレコードを買っていました。聴いてみて後悔なんて事もよくあったのですが、このアルバムは大当たり！

今でもライブのオープニングで使われ誰でもテンションが上がる１曲目、全米No1シングルにもなった２曲目、いかにも日本人が好みそうな４曲目など名曲揃い！
※このアルバムは当時ビルボード６週間１位になっていました。

アルバム全体は、ハードロックとポップスの中間でとても受け入れやすい印象で、なかでも脱退してしまったゲイリーのギターワークは心して聴いて下さい、最高です。

次回作の「GOOD TROUBLE」もおすすめですが、まずはこのアルバムを聴いてREOスピードワゴン入門のきっかけにしてみて下さい。

彼らの音楽を聴いていれば、心穏やかになれるし、
自然にハッピーになれる。
そもそも音楽は、そのためにあるんだな・・・と
改めて実感させてくれる、そんな名作です。

全米チャートナンバー１を勝ち取った大ヒットアルバムでありますが、
それよりもなによりも、アメリカンロックの良心を体現している
数少ないアルバムだと思います。

ＫＥＥＰ　ＯＮ　ＬＯＶＩＮ’　ＹＯＵは当時高校生だった筆者の
心のベスト１０。
このアルバムを聴く人は、必ず幸せになれる、そんな作品です。
お勧めです。
