９０年代半ばに復活して以来、過去の曲を現布陣で新録することが多く、曲･演奏の出来不出来は別として今ひとつ煮え切らないアルバムが多かったジェラルドが２０世紀最後の年に(ようやく)放った決定的一作。静と動の対比も鮮やかにメリハリの効いた楽曲構成で、インスト中心ながら最後まであっという間に聴かせてくれます。

藤村幸宏氏が離れてからのジェラルドはどうもなあ……と思っている方にも意外とすんなり聴けるアルバムかと思います。
