5.0 out of 5 stars おだやかで透明な歌声。, 2003/12/20
ＣＤを部屋で聴いていた時は、なんとなくＢＧＭのような感じだったのですが、
ドライブ中、雪が降ってきた途端、外の風景にシセルの歌声が溶け込んでゆきました。
流れていた曲は‘Eg Veit I Himmerik Ei Borg’　思わず、ジーンと感動してしまいました。。。
シセルの歌声には、自然が良く似合う。。。それだけ豊かな心の持ち主なのでしょう。

心も体も癒されたひとときでした（＾-＾）

ノルウェイの生んだクリスタルボイスの天使として、リレハンメルオリンピック以降愛され続けるシセルのベスト盤です。
個人的な好みとしては彼女の母国語で歌われたクリスマスソング集「Glade Jul (1987)」がベストなのですけれど、廃盤になってしまいました。

賛美歌を聴いてみればわかるのですが、彼女は昨今のクラシック畑の出身にしては例外的なほど声を張らせないタイプの歌い手です（それでも若干張るようになってきました。個人的には昔のほうが良かったです）。

同じようなクラシック畑のサラ＝ブライトマンも好きなのですけれど、彼女がオペラ風の歌い方を基調にしている点とは大きく異なり、そこが愛されている理由なのではないかと思っています。

このベスト盤には「ファイアー・イン・ユア・ハート」から「アメイジング・グレイス」、そして「Summer Snow」と日本国内のファン垂涎のラインナップです。

お求めになる価値は充分ありますけれど、彼女にはまだまだ隠されている魅力があることを付け加えておきたいですね。

半分は、私から見ればクラシックな曲ですが、半分は、親しみある
現代の曲で、一緒に歌えます。とっても優しく、ときには力強い声で、
母のようです。「ヒアゼアエブリウエア」「サマースノウ」などは
出産のときにでも聞きたい。「イーゴリ公」にびっくり。ラップの
お兄ちゃんが出てきた。こんなんもするんだあ。
星ひとつ不足分は、ポップな曲をもっと聴きたかった分。

声が最高にイイです。癒されます。アメイジング･グレイスもいろんな人が歌っていますがシセルの声は心に染み渡ります。心静かに落ち着いていきます。
