DEAD OR ALIVEらしい、と言える嬉しいアルバムです。新曲プラス旧譜の焼き直しで構成された本作は、「YOUTHQUAKE」や「MAD BAD AND DANGEROUS TO KNOW」で見せた勢いの良さが感じられるものに仕上がっています。セルフカヴァーには賛否両論あるものの、10「Lover come back to me」を聴いた時の気分は最高の一言。大切な原曲のイメージを残してここまでハイポテンシャルな音が作れる彼らは、「過去の人」ではなく、まさしく第一線で活躍すべきアーティストです。

ジュリアナ調（この言葉で括りたくはないですが）にアレンジされた旧譜も、オリジナルの良さを極端に損ねるものではなく、興味深いもの。新曲で気になるのは5「I paralyze」。低音を強調したダイナミックなバックトラックにまくし立てるような歌い方、キーワードとなる「bandage on my heart」、全てが期待通り、待っていて本当に良かった。

妖艶で独特な歌い方のピート。音が抜群に良くなっています。
いつまでも変わらない声と歌い方には感服いたします。
しっかりとしたかっこいい魅力的なダンスを聞きたい方には必見！です。
ジャケットもGOODで飾れます。

半分は過去の曲ですが、これはこれで楽しめるアレンジだと思いました。12の"Blue Christmas2000"はオリジナル同様やさしい歌声のPETEさんがとても良い感じで素敵です。
他の方のレビューを見て楽しみにしていたのは10の"Lover Come Back To Me" 1985年発表のこの曲、余りにも歌い方や声が当時のままで「本当に歌録り直しているの？」と思ってしまう位。個人的にはオリジナルより好きになりました。
1の”Hit And Run Lover"や5の"I Parslyze"もとてもカッコイイ曲だと思いました。
アルバム10枚揃えてみましたが”フラジャイル”最後に聴けて本当に良かった。・・・最後？・・・最後と言わずこれからもPETEさんの歌を聴ける事を願っています。
