『Minority』１曲の為に買うだけの価値があります。
バンド名は知らなくても、この曲を聴いた事がある方は
多いと思います。
全体的に聴きやすい曲が多いので、この１曲をメインに
他の楽曲も一緒に楽しむといいかと。
少し前のアルバムですが、今聴いてもとても楽しめる内容です。
パンクを聴いた事がない、もしくは苦手な方でも
聴きやすいと思いますよ。

最初にグリーンデイを聞いたのはもう何年も前です。
その間、自分も彼らも歳を重ねているわけですが、
グリーンデイと自分の関係は何ら変わっていないことに
気付きます。忘れた頃に聴いてみると変わらぬ爽快感が
そこにはあります。やんちゃ坊主の雰囲気は相変わらず
持ちつつも、幾分大人の雰囲気をも漂わせる彼ら3人、
次の音源が待ち遠しいです。

PS：お勧めは”Church on Sunday"かな？

日本以外の国ではあんまりウケなかったこのアルバム。どうしてしまったんだい、と文句の一つも言いたくなるほどのポップさがアダとなったのか。まあ、パンクスは今のグリーン・デイを批判するけれど、これはこれでいいと思う。ビリー・ジョーは自分のレーベルからFleshiesなどのパンク・バンドをリリースしているのだから。グリーン・デイは今も、地元のパンク・バンドをサポートしている。だから彼らは自分たちのポップ・センスを追求していく。そしてそれは、とてもすばらしいことなのだ。
