ＫＯＲＮのジョナサンが彼らの実力を高く買い、自分のレーベルから１ｓｔをリリースさせた。ＫＯＲＮ主催の『ＦａｍｉｌｙＶａｌｕｅｓＴｏｕｒ』への参加などを経て人気が上がってきた所で、１ｓｔからのシングルカット「Ｂｌｕｅ　Ｍｏｎｄａｙ」（ＮＥＷ　ＯＲＤＥＲのカヴァー）が爆発的なヒットを収める。結局は１ｓｔは１００万枚を売り上げるモンスターアルバムになっていた。そのＳＦちっくなサウンドやＮＥＷ　ＯＲＤＥＲをリスペクトする姿勢から、いつの間に彼らはニューウェーブ・ヘヴィロックと呼ばれる様になっていた。また、フロントマンのジェイはＣＯＡＬ　ＣＨＡＮＢＥＲやＫＯＲＮに楽曲を提供したりと作曲能力が優れている事でも知られている。さて、本作だが基本的には前作の延長線サウンドとなっている。マリリン・マンソンからの影響を感じさせる曲が多いのは時代的に仕方ないかな？全体的にサイバーな雰囲気に包まれているが、ｂｐｍが単純だったりと中途半端な曲が多いのも事実。インテリジェンスに溢れている故の楽曲なのだが、ちょっとパンチが効いてないかも？

こんなに実力があると、売れようとも、ウケようとも思わないのか、あまり「売る」つもりの無い活躍ぶり、しかしこの連中が受けると、実力の無い連中がどれくらいつまらない音楽ごっこをしているのかが広く知れ渡ってしまうから、業界的にはありがたいのかも、コーン主催のエレメンタルレーベルからでてきた人たち。同じくコーンがらみで世にでたリンプ・ビズキットがウケまくって、売れまくった挙句音楽やれないほどの揉め事を起こし、大変悲しいおもいをしたが、その意味では音楽をやり続けるのにちょうど言いくらいな受け方で止まってるのは救いかもしれない。特におすすめは、二曲目、五曲目、九曲目、そして最後のシークレットトラック。落ち込んだりへこんだりした時に、いっそどん底にまで気持ちを下げるとその後凄く回復が早いが、そのどん底に行く時に使うと最高。マジで最悪に「イケ」ます。「イキ」たい人、無理やり「イカされたい」人にどうぞ。
