ときどき引っぱり出して聴いてますが、これは本当に最高です。
この10年で最も素晴しい邦楽アルバムのひとつかもしれない。
儚気で親密な雰囲気に胸が震えます。
まるで短い恋愛小説のようなアルバムです。
いやー。せつないねえ。

　以前から、思っていたのだが、「Secret of my heart」の、その秘密がわからない。
　彼への想いなのだろうか？

　しかし、彼女の透明感のある歌声は、癒される。

　このアルバムでの、ジャケ写も、その歌声からくるイメージとだぶり、ますます魅かれる。
　
　皆さんも、倉木麻衣の歌声に、癒されて下さい。

デビューの際の方法論について様々なパッシングを受けた彼女であるが、このアルバムで聞ける音楽は、決して真似でもいんちきでもない素晴らしい物である。大野愛果を中心とした強力製作人による完成度の高い楽曲は、本格的な洋楽色の強い宇多田とは違い、日本的なポップソングの基本を踏襲したことが大きな特徴である。今作は、２０世紀の産業ポップスの中でも最も洗練され、そして多様性に秀でた作品であり、一つの完成形を提示した作品ではないだろうか。多様性に溢れたこれら優れた楽曲を、未熟ながらも気持ちのこもった歌唱で表現する倉木のボーカルには非凡なものを感じる。自作の曲ではないのにここまで自分のカラーが出せるボーカリストは、そうはいないであろう。記録的な売上げ枚数に決して引けをとらない歴史的名盤である。
