最近新譜も出したアル・グリーンですがこのアルバムもいい。
最近アル・グリーンを知った方には入門としていいし、ソウルファン
でもう１回聞き直してみるのもいいと思います。
もちろん1曲目のレッツ・ステイ・トゥゲザーや2曲目のコール・ミー
3曲目のアイム・スティル・イン・ラヴ・ウィズ・ユーなども良いけど

7曲目のシャラララー好きだな。アル・グリーンは実際に神父さんで
ゴスペル系のアルバムもあるけど、やっぱりソウルだね。
アル・グリーンのCDは新譜以外はなかなか普通のCD屋には
置いてないのがほとんどじゃないかなと思うんだけど、これなら
レンタルショップとかにも置いてありますよ。
1度聞いてみる価値ありです。

ポスト後期のMarvin Gaye的存在のAl Green。
まず１曲目でノックダウン！
そのままグイグイ世界に引き込まれ、気付けば
終了。もう病みつきです。
Maarvin Gaye,Curtis Mayfield好きは間違い無くクリティカルヒット
でしょう！

ちなみに夜のBGMに最適ですよ。

今までソウルに全く縁の無かった私にとって、
　彼の曲を最初に聴いたきっかけは、アメリカドラマ「アリー・マイ・ラブ」繋がりでした。
　
愛を信じるあまりに傷付く主人公の心の支えのような、
　優しく囁きかける歌声は本当に涙が溢れるほどに胸に響きました。
　　そこから魅力を感じ、彼の歌や曲を聴いていくたびに、
　　　自分の中にある様々な感情が反応を示し、大きな存在になっています。
　
彼の包容力のある繊細な歌声は、愛情で一杯です。
