シアトル出身の三人組のメジャー作品第2弾。ゴールド・ディスクを獲得した前作同様、パワフルかつパンキッシュで、明るいメロディック・ポップ・サウンドを展開している。ドラムス、ベース、ギターという最少ユニットで、がむしゃらに疾走するスタイルは、パンクのひとつの典型ではあるが、MxPxの大きな特徴はそのメロディ感覚。センスのいい旋律が随所にさりげなく提示されているところがいい。ワン・パターンで退屈になりがちなパンク・サウンドを、メロディが救っているといえる。プロデュースはグリーン・デイなどを手がけたジェリー・ワイン。 (茅場礼) --- 2000年07月号

MXPXのCDはどれも良いけど特にこのアルバムはMXPXのなかでも一番良いと思う。オススメ曲は１番の「マイライフストーリー」と３番の「レスポンシビリティ」かな。絶対に良いから皆、聞いてくれ！

実は数年前に弟の友人がアメリカから帰って来た時にお土産として持って帰ってくれたアメリカ産のプレステ(PS2じゃないよ)のゲームの（モトクロスのゲーム、名前は忘れました^^;）BGMとして入っていたのがこのアルバムの8曲目のネクスト・ビッグ・シングでした。
これが私のMXPXとの始めての出会い。
なかなかいいじゃな〜いと思って早速CDゲット。
いや、なかなか全体的に若さがあっていいじゃないのコレ。
他のアルバムは聴いてないから解らないけど、これはPOPなノリが好きな方ならオススメです。
