初期のマライアのアルバムの中でも代表的な作品だと思いますが
それぞれの曲の美しさ、マライアの声の魅力が際立っていると思います。
彼女の高音の素晴らしさはもちろんですが、低音部もとてもセクシーで素敵…。

シングルカットされた１や３、５、９あたりが特にすきでしたが
全体的にはしっとりした感じの作品が多いので、聴きごたえがありつつも癒されます。
マライアのバラード系の曲がすきな方にもおすすめです。

デービュー作からここまで、最高のヴォーカルを完全に活かしきるための選曲をして、独自の音楽スタイルを確立したその集大成とも呼べるものが本作である。
大ヒット作のダンスナンバー「ファンタジー」、ボーイズIIメンとのデュエット「ワン・スウィート・デイ」、哀しいラヴソングでありながら聴いていると勇気づけられる「Always Be My Baby」など、名作揃いである。
その圧倒的なヴォーカルに深みが加わった聴き応えのある１枚です。
