今やすっかり名前が定着した鍵盤魔人、リチャード・アンダーソン（Key）率いるTIME　REQUIEMの前身バンドの２ｎｄアルバム。

今作ではメンバーを大きく変更。ヴォーカルに今やヨラン・エドマンばりのお仕事シンガーと化している（汗）アポロ・パパサナシオを起用、ギターに脅威の新人マグナス・ノード、ドラマーにはシーン屈指の凄腕ピーター・ウィルドアーを迎えている。

前作のヨナス・ブルムもヘタウマでいい味を出していたが、アポロの太いパッション溢れる歌唱は、よりこのドラマティックな世界にマッチしている。マグナス・ノードは、線が細いながらも確かなテクニックを持ち合わせているようだ。ピーター先生はいわずもがな、ちゃんとプロのお仕事なさってます（＾＾

前作と比べ、よりクラシカル、かつタフに進化したサウンドはまさに日本人好みのメロディに溢れた高品質な一枚。
クラシカルなメロが疾走する＃６“Curtain　Of　Fire”や＃８“Approaching　The　Storm”あたりは悶絶級のスピードナンバー。クサメロ好きは一発で気に入るのではなかろうか。

TIME　REQUIEMよりもストレートなネオクラ・メタルで、難しいことも十分やっているが、メロがキャッチーでサラッと聴けるので、メタル初心者にも安心してトライできると思う。
クラシカルなメロディ好きは即買いなさい（笑
