日本が世界に誇るFPMこと田中知之の98年リリース2ndアルバム。この人の作品は、とにかく気持ち良いの一言に尽きます。ジャズ、ボッサ、ラウンジ、映画音楽…といった、俗に言うオシャレ系のサウンドを集め、その中から最も耳に心地よい部分だけを抽出して作り上げたサウンドとでもいった感じですね。1stや3rdも絶品ですが、私の耳と心に最も気持ち良かったのは、この2ndでした。クラブ系のサウンドがお好きな方は当然マストですが、暖かい午後に、コーヒーでも飲みながらのBGMとして流すのにも最適な心地よさです。是非聴いてみて欲しい1枚です。

ピチカートなどとコラボレートしたこともある田中さんのファンタスティック・プラスチック・マシーンのセカンドがこの作品です。この作品では、ユカリフレッシュや何とイギリスのエル所属だったサイモン・ターナーがアルバムに参加しています。このアルバムで個人的に一番すきなのがユカリフレッシュがボーカルを務める曲なのですが、その曲はホントに面白いし曲もポップで田中さんならではといった感じです。正直にいって他の曲はあまり自分の好みとは合わなかったのですが、このアルバムは色んなジャンルの要素を含んだアルバムだと思いました。
