元々はTERRORIZERなんかと並ぶ、ＵＳグラインドコアの代表的なバンドだったそうですが、このアルバムで聴かれる音楽は、それよりももっとfuturisticでmachinaryな音。
「近未来的」という形容が何よりも似合うヘヴィサウンドだと思います。
それ故に本作を聴いた時の衝撃といったら・・・こんな音楽聴いたことがなかったのでなおさらビックリしました。

ディーノ・カザレスの七弦ギターから繰り広げられる高速リフ、レイモンド・ヘレーラの変態的なバス捌き、クリスチャン・オールド・ウォルバースのヘヴィーなベース、バートン・Ｃ・ベルの地を揺らすかの如くの咆哮、それらがいっしょになるんだからもうとんでもないです。
解散がホントに惜しまれます。

スパインシャンクが影響を受けた作品がこれです。フィアファクを代表する名曲「NEW BLEED」を始め、Ｈ-Ｋにゼロシグナルらは素晴らしいの一言につきる。メタルファンならずとも聴いておきたい一枚です。

スリップノットがそうであるように、紛れもないＨＥＡＶＹ・ＭＥＴＡＬです。そしてフィア・ファクトリーという音です。音楽を聴いていく中で誰も一度は経験してみる価値があるものだと思います。この不器用なまでの個性と存在感、音と音の間から感じる信念と主張は、向かう方向が見えているバンドが持つ「本物」のオーラを放ち、ある意味アイアンメイデンと同じものを僕なんかは感じてしまいます。解散・再結成を経て当時から現在までのバンドの内部事情もあからさまになりましたが、まずは再結成を素直に喜んで、来日を期待します。
