5.0 out of 5 stars いつまでも耳に残る曲の数々, 2004/10/7
大ヒットミュージカル「ノートルダム・ド・パリ」のフランス語版コンセプトアルバム。ミュージカルは音楽の美しさで決まるものだとあらためて感じさせられる作品。基本的にはオリジナルキャストだが、エスメラルダ役のみノアが歌っている。日本語訳・解説がない以外は日本発売版フランス語コンセプトアルバムと同じもの。このCDはノートルダムの触りにしか過ぎないので、オリジナルキャストによるライブ版もぜひ聞いてもらいたい。

この物語の全体を通して進行役をつとめるグランゴワール役の、ブルーノ・ペルティエ氏の声の魅力が全開。曲の雰囲気に合わせて、時に力強く、時に繊細かつロマンチックに歌い上げていて、とにかく素晴らしい。日本では、このコンプリート版は発売されていないのが非常に残念。日本で発売されている物ではエスメラルダ役はノアですが、このCDではエレーヌ・セガラという方が歌っています。胸を打つ傑作ミュージカル。

数々の音楽賞を総なめし、フランスをはじめヨーロッパを席捲した大ヒットミュージカル「ノートルダム・ド・パリ」のオリジナルキャストによるコンプリート・ライブ版CD。様々な国で発売されている数あるこのミュージカルのCDの中のベスト・オブ・ベスト。コンセプト版には収録されていない美しいデュエット曲の数々も必聴。ラストのアンコールでグランゴワール役のブリュノ・ペルティエがアカペラで歌う「Le temps des cathedrales」は鳥肌もの。インパクトのある声のカジモド役のガルー、クールに苦悩するフロロ役のダニエル・ラヴォワ、可憐な歌声のエスメラルダ役のエレーヌ・セガラなど、歌唱力のある個性派ぞろいの名盤。これを聞かずしてミュージカルを語るなかれ。
