ごくごく最近はドレッグスに参加していた天才バイオリニスト。元はフロック／マハビシュヌとプログレッシブなジャズバンドでプレーしていた人物。

このアルバムは見事な『ニューエイジアルバム』。８６年にプライベートミュージックレーベルからリリースされたもの。火花散るジャズロックフュージョンはここでは期待してはいけない。

ファンのためにより分かりやすい音楽を提示したアルバムとも言える、前作が傑作だったためにこれはやや落ちるが、やはりそこは天才のジェリー。

かなりいろんなパターンの曲を用意してくれている。たとえば＝マハビシュヌみたいなフィーリングは少し出ている。ジプシーみたいなフィーリングも出ていて物悲しい気分にさせてもくれる。

幻想的でありながら同時にスピリチュアルでもある。やはり深い。ニューエイジミュージックがある種のマインドトリップを実現させるものであるならこれはまさにニューエイジの傑作だ。

バックではフレッド　サイモン＝鍵盤＝の参加が大きいと言える。彼がかなり貢献している。つうううわけで１０点中6点。

イマジネーション豊かなバイオリンというのはこういうのだと思うよ。テクニックだけを見せつけるのではなくてね。

すでに１６年前の作品ですが時の経過に埋没しないところがすごいと思います。
