この曲の始まりは、ファーストの最後を引き継ぐ形で　ストリングス（たぶん当時はやっていた
ソリーナだと思います　１２弦ギターの響きも印象的です。
このアルバムでは、ギターソロの出番が無いのが、少し寂しいですが
チラっと顔を出す部分があり、そのギターソロが、後のマイクオールドフィールドギター

の片鱗を見せています。ファーストには、無かった　ノスタルジックギターの登場です。
リコーダーなどの、トディショナルなアコースティック楽器が、一杯使われています。
まさに　アイルランドの暗い森の中に突入です。

幻想的に始まり、中間のオーボエ旋律が本当に泣かせてくれます。そして、最後に、最初の幻想を取り戻す所は、いつ聞いてもすごいです。

ＴＢとオマドーンの間にはさまれているため、どうしても地味な評価しかされませんが、作曲者自身は「前作（ＴＢ）を超えていると思う」と言ったそうです。　

私も、この曲は前作を超えていると思います。あくまでも私自身の感想ですが･･･（汗）

　ただ、このＣＤはオリジナル版が収録されているのではなく「Boxed」という特別版のが収録されているらしく、この曲がさらに地味に編集されていて･･･　と、いう意味不明な事になっています。

　レコード会社には、早くオリジナル版をCDに収録してもらいたいです。

いはゆる、初期三部作の２作目にあたる作品。マイクファンは３枚目のオマドーンをベストにあげる人が多いと思うが、個人的にはこの作品も同じくらい好きだ。ラフカディオハーンが日本文化を好んだように、ケルトと日本の文化には共通点が数多くあり、描き出す心象風景も豊かなものになるのではないか。特にパート１は、まるで朝霧のけぶる川面に船を浮かべて、どこか悲しい不思議の国へと入りこむようなオープニングから、クライマックスの鈴の音をバックにした渾身のギターソロは泣ける。後にも先にも、初めて聞いたときにその静かなる感情の昂ぶりに鳥肌がたち体が震えてしまったのはこの作品しかない。
