冒頭、Ｍ１の”I fought in the war”で戦争で友達を置き去りにしたという告白で始まる今作は、従来のベルセバの「調和の取れた美しさ」、その上で歌われる決して幸せではではなく明るくもないベルセバ特有のリアリズム、それぞれがより一層高度な仕方で完結しており、凄まじいクオリティを生み出している。

このアルバムは、彼らの前作に比べるとより暗い感じの雰囲気がただよっているアルバムという印象を受けます。詞をじっくり聞かせるような感じのボーカルと曲が重なってそれが良い結果を生んでいると思います。前作より暗い感じといっても結構明るめの曲も入っています。基本的にはいつもと同じベルセバなので今まで好きだった人なら持っていたい一枚ですが、これが彼らの最高傑作かというとそうではないというのが正直な感想でした。
