変な話かも知れないけど、BEST盤ではこれが一番いいと思う。音源もよくなってて、前の頃より断然よくなってる。”孤独のRunaway"なんかは昔のはなんか迫力が無いけど、これのは凄く味のあるロックになっていて聞いたことがない人はぜひ聞いてほしい！！（特に洋楽ファンに）ほかのお勧めはJOY・hole in my heart・OH!GIALです！本当に名曲です。あと”今では・・・今なら・・・今も・・・”の、ギターソロめちゃくちゃいいです。飽きないです。

B'z初期~中期までの曲を新規録り直ししたアルバムになります。

私は基本的にベストの類は買わないのですが、
すべて新規に録音を行っているということと、その選曲のセンスで購入を決意しました。
「だから~(1st)」とか「Never let you go(2nd)」、「今なら‥~(3rd)」
などなかなかにマニア心をくすぐるラインナップです。

今のアレンジで聞いたらどんな風になっちゃうんだろう？という
興味を非常に引き立てられて、購入してみました。
このアルバムは曲によって"Mixture style"のものと"Mixture mix"のものの
2種類のリミックスに分かれます。(原曲ママのものもあります)
"Mixture mix"の曲は原曲との違いをあまり感じないかもしれませんね。
JOYとか、YOU & Iとか。

1の「だから~」はかなり強烈。
リリース当時の、「B'z」というユニットの方向性を模索していた頃とは
全然違うアレンジになっていました。一番のオススメです。

3の"OH!GIRL"は正統進化、という感じです。
違和感なく、かつ「あ、変わったな」というのがとてもよくわかります。

6の「今なら~」は、ギターソロアレンジが秀逸。
松本氏のこういった絡みつくようなフレージングは本当にすごいですね。
ちょっと聞いただけで彼のギターだ、とわかりますからね。

実は、B'zはかなり昔に"Wicked Beat"というアルバムで同様の
アプローチの作品を輩出しています。あれはすごかったですね。
今作も往年のファンから新しくファンになった方まで
「新鮮な気持ちで」聞ける”聴いたことのある”アルバムです。
またこういったアルバム出してほしいですね。
今回以上のマニアックな選曲を期待します。

頂点を極めた者達はきっと無意識のうちに自分モードの世界が許されてしまうと勘違いしてしまいがちである・・・。この作品が正にそうである。
未発表曲以外の全ての曲がオリジナルを下回っていると思う。稲葉節炸裂のみの印象が拭いきれない最悪なアルバムとなってしまった。当時聴いていた素晴しき名曲達は多分、今の稲葉さんでは表現不可能なのかもしれない・・・。
