デジタルリマスター処理が施されているので、以前のベスト盤『Deepest Purple』などのベスト盤よりは格段に音質が向上。（しかも、レインボーのリマスターベストより音質はいいので、最近の曲と混ぜてもそんなに遜色はない）。以前のベスト盤の音質に納得してなくて買い直そうかなと考えている方や、これからDeep Purpleに手をつけようかなともっている方、または１枚ぐらいはDeep Purpleが欲しいと思っている方などと思っている方には、値段も手ごろなのでお薦めしたい。
自分も改めて買いなおしてみて良かったと思う。

大ファンというほどではなかったので、気が付けばDeep Purpleのアルバムは一枚も持っていなかった。（昔は友達にダビングしてもらい歌詞カードはコピーして聴いていた）今時カセットテープでは車の中で聴くことも出来ず、購入したのがこのベスト盤である。

第二期黄金期の曲が中心なのは当然なのだろうが、デビカバ好きにとっては「Mistreated」が選曲されていないことがちょっと残念。
ジャケットもあまりセンスを感じない、メンバーの写真も雑誌でよく見たショットで今ひとつ。
しかしながらさすがライノ盤、デジタルリマスターの定番を押さえた内容でこの価格。
高音質にこだわるコアなフリーク、私のように時々無性に聴きたくなる中途半端なファンやパープル・ビギナーにはオススメである。
（ちなみに各曲に関する簡単なコメントのみで歌詞はついていない）

　名曲ぞろいのベスト盤ＣＤがこの値段で手に入る。３０年前に青春していたアダルトファンにはたまらない。何枚かＬＰ盤持っててもプレイヤーが壊れてたりして、聴けない人多いんじゃないでしょうか？手っ取り早く、３０年前に超特急で戻れること請け合いです。クルマの中でボリューム上げて聴くと最高！！（家では、くれぐれも近所迷惑にならない程度のボリュームで）　今までにＣＭで使われた曲もあるので、ディープパープルを知りたいヤング層にも、お薦めです。
