現時点での最新スタジオアルバム。BLSとしては２枚目にあたるこのアルバムをはじめて聞いたとき、吹っ飛ばされそうになった。物凄い重さの音階は、まるで超へヴィー級のボディーブローを喰らったよう。ザックの丸太のような腕で鳴らされる爆音ペンタトニックは体全体に響く破壊力。これは聞きでしょ！

ザックのギターが炸裂！爆裂★☆
ヘヴィなザックのギターが最高に気持いい！！
４曲目「ラスト」のハードバラードでは心地いい泣きのギター
・・・とにかく必聴の１枚です (^^)v
♪♪ザックのアルバムで１番のお勧めＣＤです♪♪

　OzzyのNo More TearsでZakkのギターに魅了され、｢book of shadows｣アルバムを聴いた時には、アコースティックな楽曲にエッ？と思ったものですが、このアルバムは爆音炸裂縦横無尽の弾き放題ですね。以下、Zakkのソロに興味は有るが聴いたことがない、という人に参考になれば幸いです。

　ギターと作曲は勿論のこと、ヴォーカルも本人。ドラム以外は全部Zakkが演ってます。
4アコースティックなバラード曲。ヘヴィーでダーク。
8ピアノをフィーチャーしたバラード曲。ヘビィーなギターソロが絡んでくる。
上記２曲以外は全部重低音爆裂メタル。
6でのヴォーカルはOzzyっぽい雰囲気。

　Zakkのヴォーカルはしゃがれ声であり野太く野性味溢れる声ですね。Heavy Metalをあまり聴かない私としては、Ozzy風というよりはマリリン･マンソン風、という感じがしますが。
　ギターの演奏はお墨付きとして、ピアノもいい感じで弾いてます。
