ex-SHERBET,GREEN GIANTからなるTHUMBの1STフルアルバムです。
とにかく曲の勢いがすさまじくたたみかけるような岡田さんのボーカルが冴えわたってます。
何回聴いてもいいモノはいいです。
12曲収録されていますがとにかく曲が短い!!!
だいたいの曲が２分以下です。
でもそれぐらいがちょうどいいのではないかと思います。
何回も同じメロディーを繰り返されるより潔く終わってくれたほうが聴きやすいと思うので。
とにかく日本のメロディックハードコアの歴史の中でもかなりの良作だと思います。

1stシングル"TAKE THE FIRST STEP"に次ぐ、THUMBの1stフルアルバム。
ほとんどの曲が2分以内と短く、スピード感が溢れており
曲の短さに相俟って歌詞も短くまた単純ではあるが
だからこそガツンと胸に響いてくる、良い意味で男臭さが感じられる一枚。

だみ声で歌う岡田洋介さん(Vo＆Ba)と
羽沢進さん(Gt)、片山豊さん(Dr)のコーラスのマッチングも良く
難波さん(元Hi-STANDARD)や磯部さん(元Husking Bee)の声が聴けるシークレットトラックや
CDの再生時間が33:33(「サム」とかけてる？)というのも遊び心を感じさせる。

「岡田さんの声質が気に入らない」という声もちらほら聞くこともあったが
90年代後半から2000年の日本のメロディックパンク盛期を担った
一つのバンドとして聴く価値有り。
発売から8年以上が経った今も、THUMBにしか出せないこの味は色褪せていない。

Hi-STANDARDの難波氏のプロデュース。元SHERBETのDr片山豊とBa岡田洋輔と元GREEN GIANTのGt羽沢進によって結成されたバンド。AIR JAM'98に出演後、これのレコ発でHUSKING BEEと全国ツアー。初回版は歌詞カードが冊子ではなく、一枚一枚の紙になっている。
