今まで、全てのターンＡガンダムのサントラを聞いてきましたが、どれもが皆良い曲で、聞いていると本当に心が休まります。どうぞ皆さんも聞いてみてはいかがでしょう？

サウンドトラックに入っている曲が元からオーケストラを使ったような（実際使ってるのかも）曲調なので、サウンドトラックを持っている人には少し物足りないかも。でも、ヴォーカルは別。オーケストラとのマッチングがすばらしい。ターンエーガンダムを実際に見ている方がたのしめると思うが、見ていなくてもクラシックと思えば誰でも楽しめます。

熱心なアニメウォッチャーという訳でもなかったけれど、マンガ、アニメに子供時代から育ってきた世代として、
その時々話題になった作品について一通りみてきた。その中でガンダムというのは、製作者の意図は非常に
理解できるし共感できるのであるが、あまりに生の感情が良く溶け込まずに入っている印象があって、ずっと
敬遠していた。しかしこのターンAガンダムについては、同じ人間であるにも係わらず、対立し、心ならずも係
わらざるを得ない状況を丁寧に描きだしていて、本当によく出来ていると思う。製作者の円熟というべきだろうか。

その思いを強めているのが、菅野ようこの見事な音楽だと思う。アニメのサントラの音楽などと思わず、アルル
の女や」ペールギュントなどの劇場用音楽を基にした管弦楽組曲としても十分楽しめる。静かな音楽が流れる
中に、ちょっとショスタコビッチの7番の交響曲の1楽章のような次第にクレッシェンドする行進曲が並行する抒
情的な楽曲軍靴の記憶」。イギリスのディーリアスを思い起こされる叙情的な楽曲等魅力的な曲が揃っている
。一見よくあるような甘い旋律であるが、少し微妙にずれた感覚が、独創的である。多彩な作曲家だと思う。

リーフレットにもう少し楽曲の解説等あって欲しかった。曲は星５つだが、それで星４つ。
