アール・クルーが演奏している全ての曲は、「淡々」、「さりげなく」、そして美しい「メロディー」で仕上がっています。どの曲も大変聴きやすい。
例えば、１番目の「ハート・ストリング」は、メロディーが「親しみ」やすく、それでいて美しい。さらに、メロディーをサポートする「チャカポカ、チャカポカ」というようなリズムもこの曲を際だたせています。

このアルバムの中で、私は「プリティー・ワールド」が好きです。メロディーが美しく、容易に口ずさむことができます。
最後に、「ハート・ストリング」のオーケストラ・バージョンの演奏も入っています。ストリングスがサポートする「ハート・ストリング」は最初の演奏とは趣が違っています。

全曲、アール・クルーの音楽の原点かもしれません。安心して聴けます。
心が安まり、心に響きます。

25年ほど前ＬＰを聴き、カセットを擦り切れるほど聴きました。海沿いの夕日を眺めながらよく彼女と聴きました。あのころが懐かしいです。時が過ぎ、ＣＤを探しましたが見当たらず、最近になり探し当てました。いいものは何年たっても色あせることなく記憶に残ります。
涙チョチョ切れます。
世代が変わり、子供たちも大好きです。

Heart Stringは何故かそのやさしい音色に　若かりし日つらい事があった時
やさしく語りかけてくれる様で何度も何度も聴いていました　
久しぶりに聴いて涙ものです！
やっぱりいい物はいつになってもいいですね！
今も凄く良いのですがこの頃のアールクルーには何とも言えない味・感情があって私は大好きです！！（ただ昔よく聴いていたからそう思うのかもしれません）
いや~音楽って本当に良いですね！
