彼らの音楽は、ロックの部類に入るのだろうけれども、このアルバムはロックという言葉では表せない程、色いろなサウンドが詰まっている。サウンドだけではなく、歌い方も、それぞれ異色を放っているので、聴き応えは充分である。中でも、八曲目は歌詞にも注目したい。二一世紀という新世紀に突入したものの、何かと不幸のニュースが絶えないこの世の中、この八曲目の歌詞の言うように、明日何が起ころうとも、目を開き、手を広げて、自分の居るべきところに立っていたいものである。

昨今の音楽の流行の一端を担う彼等の、現在と過去が混在する作品。
#8:Driveなど哀愁あるアコースティックなものもあれば、直後には図太いビートの#9:Cleanと来る。
このアルバムから好きな曲を一つも見つけられない人は少ないだろう。
前作と比べると音が生々しく、巧さが端々に見受けられる。
見逃されがちだが、歌詞もなかなかいいではないか。

前作sienceと比べて少し失速感が否めない。と言うのも、前作のnew skinやnebulaのようなアップテンポの曲がない・・。バラード調のdriveは良かったです。
元々こういうバンドなのかな？インキュバスらしい民族的な雰囲気は健在です。
