   氷をアイスキューブトレイ(製氷皿)から取り出すのは、なかなか面倒で難しい作業のひとつだ。普段は両手で何度か強引にトレイを動かし、指にひっかけたりして取りだしたりするが、つるっと滑ってしまったり。お客さまの前で、慌ててトレイを引っくり返し床に氷をばらまいてしまったときなどはとても恥ずかくなってしまう。

   本アイスキューブトレイは実にユニーク。ふた付きだから、ふたをスライドさせて取り出したい数だけボールに出せる。底が丸くなっているから、氷を指で取り出すのも簡単。ちょっと押し出すだけでつるっとラクに氷が取れるのだ。氷はちょっと厚めのかまぼこ型のようなユニークな形。

   ふた付きだから何個も重ねて氷を作ることができるのも便利だ。夏の暑い時期、氷をたくさん使うときにうれしい。また、ふたがあることで、氷の鮮度も新鮮なまま保っていられるのもポイント。ただし、底が独特な形なので水を注ぐときはこぼさないように注意したい。(中村真紀子)

水を入れた後、冷凍庫まで運ぶ間に水がこぼれるのが気になって蓋つきというのが気に入って購入しましたがこれに関しては結局水が隙間から漏れてくるので期待通りではありませんでした。ただ冷凍庫内でスタッキングできて臭いもうつり難いのと氷の形状が型から外れやすくなっている点は優れていると思います。

冷蔵庫が作ってくれる氷は、浄水機能など安心できないため、製氷皿で作っています。一般に、形にこだわると取り出しにくく、それでなければ普通の形。そのため、この製品の購入を決めました。ユニバーサルデザインにしては、水色の蓋になる部分がスライドしにくい難点がありますが、氷外れは、とても良かったです。又、スタッキングできるので、大きさにしては、コンパクトな感じです。

期待の蓋は、かなーりスライドさせづらいです。かたい。
固いから密閉されるかといえばそうでもない。
凍り付いちゃったり中の氷がつっかえたりしてさらに開けにくくなります。
蓋をスライドさせるときに余計な力が入って水をこぼしてしまう、なんてこともしばしば。
この製氷器の蓋付というメリットを生かすには複数個スタッキングすることで一気に沢山作るしかない。実際それを大きなメリットと思う人も多いんじゃないでしょうか。
氷を作ってそのまま保存してもOKというメリットもありますが、一つだとたいした量は作れませんのであしからず。
