　約３年ぶりの､‘９９年発表作。
　前作は､ややハードで､力強いロック色の強い作風だったが、それを踏襲しながらも今作はバラード調の曲が多く､それを歌い上げるソウルフルなヴォーカルも、更に深みを増した感がある。

　前作同様､ほぼスタジオでの一発録音のライヴっぽい音に加え､6のような、英国トラッド風のサウンドとメロディにフルートを絡めるといった実験的な要素もある。
　爽やかな雰囲気も漂う、ただのブルース･ロック･アルバム以上の味を備えた､彼らしい素晴らしい作品だ。

　「濃紺とは海原、濃紺とは夜空、濃紺とは俺の心、濃紺はお前の瞳の色・・・」。
　そんじょそこらの青二才には吐き出せない激渋ブルーズ・ナンバー「ＤＥＥＰ　ＢＬＵＥ」で幕を開けるこのアルバムは、ポールの持ち味である「歌いまわし」を存分に味わうことができる快作です。
　音楽的には、ブルーズの色合いが濃くなっていますが、基本的には前作を継承するブルーズ・テイスト溢れるシンプルなロック。前々作のように、ニール・ショーンのような存在感ありすぎのミュージシャンが参加していない分、音楽に、歌に、集中して聴くことが出来ます。
　それにしても、インナー・スリーブの写真が凄い。何がって、下着ランニング着てマイクスタンドを高らかに上げてポーズ！あり得ない。オヤジなのに、カッチョイイのは何故だ？
　全曲ポールの作詞・作曲。
