このバンドは、よく「いつも同じ」と言われるが、アルバム発表毎に徐々に引き出しを増やして来たと思う。

個人的にはどのアルバムも好きなのだが、何故かこのアルバムが特にお気に入りである。
理由は、ドラムが私好みだからだ。
疾走感・アタック・フィルのセンス等、以前のドラムよりいい！

（注：「スタンド･イン･ライン」でドラムを叩いたパット・トーピーは除く）

しかも このアルバムを最後に、ヴォーカルのロブ・ロックはバンドを去った…

バンド史上最強メンバーだったと思う。

1音下げチューニングって…
ってか曲によってはさらにチューニング下げちゃってるし。
KORNとか聴いてる訳じゃないし、クリスのサウンドにそういうのを求めている訳でもなかったから、遊び的に何曲か入れる程度にして欲しかった。（EYE OF THE HURRICANEの時みたいに）
ストラト使ってるんだし、新しい事やるのが悪い訳ではないけど、『ストラトな』サウンドが聴きたいって思うのは僕だけ？？
『FEAR NO EVIL』なんてROB ZOMBIEから影響受けすぎ！！
そうじゃないだろ！！な一枚でした。。。

『BEWARE OF THE DEVIL』,『SPEED DEMON』あたりは低音にしているのがハマっていい感じを出しているんですけどねぇ。
『WASTED EARTH』ではとうとうスクラッチとか入ってるし…

このアルバムを最後にヴォーカルのロブ・ロックが脱退という最悪の事態が…
僕の中ではクリスとロブがいてのIMPELLITTERIだったのに。。。
クリスの明日はどっちだ！
そしてかむばぁ~っく！ロブ~！！

まずギターの速さにビビります。もんのすごい。イングウェイみたいなスイープピッキングではなく、マシンガンピッキングと呼ばれる奏法によるものらしいのだが、ホント呆れるくらいに速い・・・。何が彼をそうさせたのか？速いだけでなくサウンドも純粋なメタルなので買って損は無し。
