4.0 out of 5 stars 速さ全開！ポールの弾きっぷりが復活！, 2006/6/28
13年振りのRACER-Xの再結成アルバム。
MR.BIGの時と違い、ポール・ギルバートは、
思う存分速弾きをしています。
曲は、「セカンド･ヒート」よりは、やや落ちるが、
ほぼ合格点でしょう。

しかし、ツインで速弾きをしていた、
ブルース・ブイエが参加していない！！
ポールとブルースの速弾きの競演が楽しみだったのに．．．
むしろ、私はブルースが弾くメロディの方が好きだったので、
楽しみが半減しました。

でも、並みのヘヴィメタルバンドには、
到底真似のできない、楽曲の良さ、演奏のウマさで、星4つです。

13年ぶりに再結成されたレーサーＸ。
ミスタービッグやソロ活動で多彩なメロディーセンスとテクニックを発揮し「早弾き一筋！」からは遠ざかっていたポールが鬱憤を晴らすかのごとく(あくまで例えであり鬱憤が溜まっていたかは私の知るところではないが)ギターを弾きまくっている。それはもう早い早い。もちろん早いだけなら５つ星はつけませんが。

3スネイクバイトはレーサーＸ史上に残るであろう名曲。ソロは圧巻。
9ポイズン・アイズもクールな一曲。

ギターキッズ必聴と書きましたがそれ以外の人も聞いてみる価値あり。

Ｍｒ．Ｂｉｇのスーパーギタリストとして有名なポール・ギルバート。
しかし彼の本気はレーサーＸで発揮する！
鬼のように早いギター。
まさにマッハ。
これだ、コレを待ってたんだよ。
とくに３曲目。は、はやい。
しかもこの曲はファンへの曲というではないか。
いいなー。
とにかくだ、早いギタリストならたくさんいるだろう。

しかし彼は早いのを誇示するわけではなく、メロディーとして存在させる。

なにが言いたいのかと言うと、とにかく聞いてみなさい。
特にギターキッズ諸君。
