5.0 out of 5 stars ２０世紀最後の思い出, 2001/12/6
突如として世紀末に大復活を遂げた“オリジナル”Art of Noiseの発展拡張版。もちろんここには元々の仕掛け人だったトレヴァー・ホーンもいるしさらにはGodley & Cremeのロル・クレームまで名前を連ねている。このある世代にとっては夢の顔合わせは、やはりとてつもなくマジカルなこの怪物を産み出した。

シームレスで次から次へと聴くものを異空間に連れ去る様な構成の巧みさといい、音響的なデザインの斬新さといい、これこそが２０世紀最後の傑作と呼びたい１枚である。“騒音の芸術家”たちのリターン・マッチにはもっともっと大きな喝采が送られても良いはずなのに、なぜかあまり評判にならなかったのは至極残念でならない。

ちなみに夜の高速を走りながら車中で聴くと、得も言われぬ疾走感が味わえる。オススメ。

エレクトロニクスとストリングス。ゴロがいいだけじゃない、相性がなんて良いんだ！爽快感もあり重さもあり、とても高い完成度です。もちろんこの二つを上手く組み合わせるのは中々できないことで…流石アート・オブ・ノイズという他ないですね。１回聴くと最後まで止められない１枚。

15曲目は、“out of this world”ですが、
CDエクストラではありません。
CDエクストラはPVで“mataforce”です。
素晴らしい、PVですし、名曲です。
『日本盤のみ
オリジナル・ジャケット
ボーナス・トラック２曲収録
CDエクストラ仕様
（mataforce PV収録）』
と帯に書いてあります。
お買い得だと思うのですが！
