irony・マテリアル　の順に聴いてこのアルバムに辿り着いたわけですが、ＡＣＯってこんなに良かったっけと思いました。Ｒ＆Ｂが聴きたいけどありがちなトラックじゃ物足りないっていう人・感情的な自分が嫌いで、でも捨てられない　そんな人に聴いてもらいたいなと思います。個人的な考えですが･･･。

安息の音楽だと思う。癒し、ではない。
僕は男だが、「女であることの業」を引き受けたまま、
その事実をそのまま愛してしまっている苦悩を強く
感じる作品で無いだろうか。そう思う。
音楽的にはアンビエントとかR&Bを意識するも、型には
ハマらない。強いて言えば「女性ヴォーカル」としか
言いようが無い普遍性の高い作品だ。いつ聴いても

新しい感じがする。
coccoとかbjorkを愛する人は出会うべくして出会う
アーティストだろうけれど、エスノ系クラブ作品を聴く
人にも薦められる。具体的には、坂本龍一はまぁ凄く
好きだけど、Enigmaのが好きだな、というリスナーに
薦めてみたい。
加えて言えば、（理解しきれるワケは無いんだが）
『女』を理解しようと思っているひとに聴いて欲しい。

カテゴライズされる音楽ではなく境界線上の音楽。
昼でなく夜の音楽。男ではなく女の音楽。逃げではなく
訴求する音楽。癒しではなく安息の音楽。そう考える。

特異な作品である。ひたすら暗く、重く、何か沈みゆく感じを受ける。しかしながらそれが、何とも言えない気持ち良さにつながる点が、この作品が傑作である所以である。そして、「悦びに咲く花」「雨の日の為に」の２曲は特段に素晴らしい。 舌足らずな甘い歌声が嫌味に聞こえないのも、ACOがACOたる所以であろう。
