   クイーンのヒット曲集の第3弾となる本作は、最初は無理のある内容に思えるかもしれないが、よく考えてみると本シリーズ中もっとも意味深く魅力的なコレクションであると言えそうだ。バンド後期のアルバムやソロ・プロジェクトから選曲され、さらに、ゲスト・ヴォーカリストたちが亡くなったフレディ・マーキュリーの代わりに熱唱するトリビュート・アルバムからも選ばれている（エルトン・ジョンがドラマティックに歌う「The Show Must Go On」、ジョージ・マイケルが羽目を外す「Somebody to Love」）。テーマ的にも音楽的にもなかなかよくまとまっているのだ。

QUEEN＋というサブタイトルの通り、オリジナル曲を他のアーチストとともに演奏した物や、貴重なバージョン違いの曲などを多数収録。
本来のクイーンワールドとは一味違った展開を見せるアルバムだ。
しかしながら、やはりクイーンの名のもとにリリースされるだけのことはあって、聞き応え十分！！

グレイテストヒッツI、IIとともに是非手元に置きたいアルバムになっている。
特にデビッド・ボウイとの｢アンダープレッシャー｣ジョージマイケルとの｢愛にすべてを｣などは必聴！！
フレディーの素晴らしく伸びのあるボーカルが堪能できる｢アイ・ワズ・ボーン・トゥ・ラブ・ユー｣の収録もとても嬉しい。

グレイテストヒッツの最終作として、フレディーに捧げるアルバムを出したクイーン、これもまた確かにクイーンなのだと思いながら…
このアルバムにかけたメンバーの想いを聞き取りたい

大抵の場合、なんたらRemix,なんやらmix,なんとかVersionとイジくりまわされたモノは、必然性が感じられず、腹立たしささえ覚えてしまう事が多々なのですが、このアルバムに収録されている「アンダー・プレッシャー(rah mix)」はとてもカッコ良いです。
勿論、オリジナル・ヴァージョンがあっての上のことなのでしょうけど、個人的にはオリジナルより、こっちの方がよりパワフルに感じます。
この１曲の為に買っても損はなかったと思えました。

フレディがみんなに愛されてたことを実感できるアルバムだと思います。
「THE SHOW MUST GO ON」をエルトンジョンが歌い、「UNDER PRESSURE」をデヴィットボウイが歌う。一番の感動曲は、「NO-ONE BUT YOU（ONLY THE GOOD DIE YOUNG）」です。ブライアン、ロジャー、ジョンのメンバーがフレディに問いかけながら歌う。フレディには、届いているのでしょうか。

トリビュートでは、ないのでフレディの綺麗な歌声も聴けます。
貴重な一枚ですよね。結構さまざまなジャンルの曲が入ってるので色々な気分を味わえます。まるでフレディの心の変化を表しているかのようです。
