『２０００-１』１枚で、ポップ・ロック・バラード全てを楽しめる仕上がりになってます。藤井フミヤさんの長年の音楽生活の集大成とも言えるのではないでしょうか。１曲１曲の歌詞もストーリー性があり、心に響くものがあります。ファン以外の方にも楽しんで聴いていただける、オススメの１枚です。

アップテンポが多いので、案外楽しいアルバムに思えるかもしれませんが、フミヤ自身はかなりスランプに陥ってしまっていた頃でした。「Ａｎｏｔｈｅｒ　Ｏｒｉｏｎ」以降のヒットという重圧に苦しんでいた感じです。
楽曲としては「恋の気圧」の弾け具合が本当にフミヤらしいポップな曲で、この曲をシングルにしてほしかったです。新しいフミヤのイメージが出来ていたかも知れません。（願い叶って次の年に「Ｓｔａｙ　ｗｉｔｈ　ｍｅ」という久々のアップテンポのシングルをリリースした。）
アルバムはだんだん上り、真ん中のピークから、徐々に下がるの構成がいいですね。たしかスポーツドリンクを飲むような感じをアルバム紹介のときにしていましたけど、まさにそんな風に流れていきます。後味はスッキリって感じですかね？
音はそれ以前のアルバムに比べたら、かなりデジタルサウンドです。アップテンポが多いせいかな？それでもフミヤらしくアレンジされてます。
さすがにポップスシンガーらしいアルバムです。

そして僕の人生の応援歌ともいえるシングル「風の時代」がアルバムの最後に収録されてるのがとても嬉しいです。
